“Experience This!” Lottery launches in support of the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundations’ CT scanner fundraising campaign

Nov 3, 2021

If you’re looking for some great stocking stuffers or just a little extra fun while supporting a critical community project then check out the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation’s new fundraising lottery. The “Experience This!” lottery is supported by Laurentis Energy Partners and all funds raised will be put toward the $3 million need to bring a CT scanner to the hospital in Saugeen Shores.

This year’s lottery runs November through mid-February with an early bird draw in early January making it the perfect gift for Christmas. The lottery lives up to its name and will offer prizes that are local experiences such as private brewery tours for you and 7 friends, complete with brewing your own beer, hot catered dinner and beer and swag to take home. Other fun prizes include a hot tub party at your residence and a private pig roast party at your home for up to 50 people where Great Canadian BBQ will set  up the pig roast on your property, roast, carve and serve the pig along with all the fixings.

As an added bonus to inspire holiday sales. Anyone who purchases 5 tickets before December 8th will be entered in a draw to win $200.00 worth of assorted scratch off tickets. A great addition to your Holiday giving and stocking stuffing; or keep them all for yourself.

Local nuclear supplier company, Laurentis are supporting the lottery initiative along with the second round of the lottery that will happen next Spring through the Summer. “Laurentis is honoured to be able to sponsor the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation CT Scanner Campaign and Lottery,” said Jason Van Wart, Vice President of Laurentis Energy Partners. “As Laurentis continues to grow our business and presence in the Port Elgin and Bruce County areas, it becomes increasingly important that we support local initiatives like the CT Scanner fundraising campaign and give back where it matters most.”

“We all need to do what we can to support. I would encourage all other local suppliers and nuclear partners to come together and donate to the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation CT Scanner project in whatever capacity you can, so that the hospital and the community can get the equipment they wholeheartedly need and deserve, especially through these unprecedented times”, said Van Wart.
