“I started to experience ringing in my ears but when I went to an audiologist they couldn’t find anything that might be causing it. Several months later I visited the audiologist again and still no answers or treatment. After consulting my doctor and asking to visit a different audiologist I was sent for a CT scan which showed I had a tumor in my brain the size of a golf ball.
After a 13 hour surgery the tumor was removed. I lost the hearing in one of my ears due to the surgery but I am alive today and can see my daughter graduate from university because of that CT scan.”
